Why You Shouldn’t Use Social Networking Sites Like Youtube, Twitter And Facebook To Build Your Brand

Hey welcome back if you enjoyed this post retweet it and leave me a comment. Thanks for visiting!

why you shouldn't use social media sites to build your brandI have noticed something extremely powerful about building your business online or offline. The more people see you everywhere the more they will be inclined to check you out, and see what you are up to.

Your presence in those communities allows you to build relationships with people long before they ever even reach out to contact you. It allows you to brand yourself subconsciously because everywhere your prospects turn… there you are.

Now imagine this, if on top of that, you follow the attraction marketing principles in your content strategy, which is offering valuable information and resources to your prospects without expecting them to buy “Give without want” Mike Dillard. Then you will become the person they will think of when they are ready to buy.

Now, there is a warning though, you can be incredible active in all communities, and social networking sites but if you don’t have a home where to take your new friends then you are missing up the main element to build your business.

The fact is that the social media sites are meant to be for knowing people not for selling to them.

Another problem is that sites like youtube, facebook and twitter are not owned by you and you run the risk of losing them.

On the other hand, these sites are not nearly as powerful as having your website that fully brands you.

It has been proven that when you send somebody to a blog or a personal site and then to a sales page, to get a dramatically higher conversion rate. To start people love blogs, they love getting something for free.

Blog is considered a place for getting new and content, not as a selling source, and that psychologically make people more receptive to the message.

The blog gives you instant credibility because it features you, your content, and your products. Just think about this, is like having your friends always meet you at restaurants, bars, etc. but you don’t have an actual place you can take them like your home. Your credibility won’t be as strong as it could.

Button line, social networking sites don’t have the massive benefits that a blog does.

A blog allows you to incorporate social media sites like youtube, twitter and facebook, which means that anybody that sees your content in any of these networking sites will be sent to your central hub, (blog) your home.
